Pusing Ria Slaughterhouse can be classified as a plant with “few varieties but large quantities in production” and its mode of production is “on production line” having its operations divided into a number of procedures to be completed by a number of groups of workers.

After years of improvements and developments, Pusing Ria has established a stable and mature production flow. Workers are assigned to different duties in front of the conveyor belt along the production line and complete a variety of tasks according to the procedures.

The positioning and applications of machineries and proper planning of the production line are complemented by the efficiency of workers. The fast work rate of machines, the fast tempo of the production line and the efficiency of workers have contributed to the production of 1800 chickens hourly.

Efficiency of work is undoubtedly one of the requirements for competitions but to Pusing Ria, “quality” and “hygiene” are more important targets to be achieved before efficiency.
